A blender that is compatible with a french outlet?!

Question:

A blender that is compatible with a french outlet?

i want to buy my friend who lives in france a blender for christmas but i am having trouble finding a website that sells blenders that are compatible for french outlets. any suggestions?

Answers:
The reason you're having trouble (if you don't already know) is because France uses 220 volt 50 Hz line voltage.

Here's a site that has what you're looking for. Look under "Small Appliances"

http://www.appliancesoverseas.com/...

Please note that I am not specifically recommending this website and have had no experience with it. There are likely others which also carry such items. Never hurts to shop around.

your not going to be able to find one state side. the only thing you could do is buy the blender and then get an adapter for it and send it all to her.

You could buy her a gift certificate to a french store that sells blenders: carrefour.fr, darty.fr are two.
There is a website that sells multicountry appliances, I believe it is called World Gift, but don't remember the exact link. I think the giftcard is a better option due to having warranties and servicing through her local shops.

I KNOW WALMART HAS ANY KIND YOU NEED . AND CHEAPER THAN OTHER PLACES . IM SURE YOU WOULD FIND WHAT YOU NEED ITS JUST SINCE CHRISTMAS IS SO CLOSE GOT TO GET THERE QUICK
