I need an Easy-to-Make Entree?!
I need an Easy-to-Make Entree?
Hey, i'm hosting a christmas party for about 30 people, and I need a non-messy, easy-to-make-for-lots-of-peopl... entree. I want it to be sophisticated, not just burgers or hot dogs, and I want it to be kinda christmasy too. pLease Help, the party is the 22nd, so I need it before like, the 15th, so I can shop and plan, thanks.

Oh, by the way, I'm a teenager, so no alcohol, and also, I'm a MAJOR novice at cooking, so make it as simple as possible, nothing TOO fancy.

Fetteccini Alfredo..
Go to www.allrecipes.com. Its a great website when you can find lots of recipes, even if you decide on the Fetteccini Alfredo. I believe there are only like 4 ingredients in the home made alfredo sauce (dont buy it from the stores, its not the same) Then add to it some really nice toasted garlic, parmesean cheese bread. And some appetizers and Christmas drinks to go along with it. Oh and some good wine.. CAN NEVER GO WRONG!!!
Fetteccini alfredo is simple, clean, non-messy and cheap for serving a lot of guests!!!
Good luck! I hope this helps!!!
blanched asparagrus wrapped in parma ham then fried, squeeze over a little lemon juice to avoid mess you can serve with cocktail sticks
Try
Asparagus with Red Wine Vinagraitte and Toasted Walnuts.
or
Smoked Salmon, Dill Potato Rosti's and Lime Mayonaisse.
or
King Prawn Salad with Avocado, Cherry Tomatoes and Lime Mayonaisse
You should have a cold entree for this amount of people, you really don't want to be cooking a hot entree, you can have it ready plated and spend more time with your guests.
If you want some more recipes or ideas you can email me from my profile.
Good Luck
I am from Australia and Christmas is really hot here so if you need a hot entree I can give you some tips too.
