Anyone got any good dinner ideas?!

Question:

Anyone got any good dinner ideas?

Im so sick of making the same dinners over and over again. I feel like we eat the same thing every week. What do you make your family for dinner? Any ideas will be greatly appriciated

Answers:
I know what you mean! I work from home and have a child and a husband to feed. I usually try to change up on my dinners at least twice a week because I get bored easily. Here is a recipe I enjoy making though so I hope it's helpful.

I love to make turkey bacon shrimp burgers

Ground turkey
salt, pepper, little dab of cajun season, cook til done.
Add cheese and bacon and whatever else you like on your burgers and shrimp.

Also garlic french fries

Put crinkled or straight fries in overn til done.
While fries are cooking in a bowl mix together melted butter, garllic salt and one clove of garlic (diced) and mix together.
pour over fried when done! Great and new way to enjoy fries.

Another side I like to add with this meal is wrapped bacon and shrimp.

Clean and devain shrimp.
Wrap Maple or apple bacon around them and stick tooth pick in them. Put in oven til bacon is done! And enjoy!

My family really loved this meal! It was fun to make because it was different and new!

Hope I helped you

perogies...sauteed in butter
hamburgers w/ sauteed mushrooms and onion (alittle different than the traditional hamburger/cheese burger)
homemade soups...turkey, chicken noodle, etc.
you can make chicken breast (boneless/skinless) on the stove top then add some BBQ sauce till heated....a great way for that BBQ flavor in the winter.

rub a boston butt(pork shoulder) with mustard, put it in your oven at 250 nine hrs later southern pulled pork

super easy, yummy soup recipe:

Spinach Tortellini Soup

1 package frozen spinach-thawed
2 cans reduced sodium chicken broth
2 cloves of garlic minced
1 tbl. Olive oil
2 cans stewed or Italian seasoned diced tomatoes (don’t drain)
1 package fresh tortellini
Parmesan cheese
Salt/pepper to taste

1. In stock pot, heat olive oil and sauté garlic.
2. Add chicken broth and tomatoes, bring to a light boil.
3.Add tortellini and cook until done (they puff up huge!)
4.Add spinach and stir through until hot.
5. Serve with parmesan cheese and crusty bread!!

Leftovers will soak up a lot of the liquid, if so; just add a bit more broth/water.

Hmmm. You didn't say anything about time constraints, so I'll assume you are a working mom and don't want to spend 6 hours in the kitchen. There are many good recipe web sites, but there aren't many "quick and easy and good".
Since the mainstays in most kitchens are ground meat or chicken here are a few suggestions. Ground meat:
Quick and easy "Goulash" - Brown a pound of meat and drain off the fat. salt and pepper to taste. Add 2 or 3 8oz. cans tomato sauce, 2 cans drained Veg-all or any mixed veg. that isn't too heavy with potatoes, Italian seasoning and garlic powder to taste and simmer for 20 minutes. Plate some steamed rice and serve the the goulash over it. Garlic bread on the side and you're done. Start to finish about 30 minutes.
Lime chicken; place boneless skinless breasts on a plate and squeeze the juice of 1 1/2 limes over them. Let them marinate for about 20 minutes (longer if you have time). Don't worry about the whiteish look they will get, it is the acid in the lime cooking the chicken a little. When finished marinating season with seasoned salt (I prefer Lawry's) and garlic powder. Heat a little olive or veg. oil in a skillet. Cooked over medium heat turning every few minutes. Every time you turn them take the other 1/2 lime and dribble a few drops of juice onto the side that you just exposed. The sugar in the lime juice will carmalize into a dark crust. Cook until done. Serve with a can of asparagus and some long grain and wild rice, like Uncle Ben's, and rolls or garlic bread. About 40 minutes including the marinating period.
