lobster on bread, i forgot what it was called. IT WAS GOOD!

If it's free, EVERYTHING-ARU!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Little smokies, and deviled eggs are my favorites at a get together.

definitely food

finger rolls, fruit and veggie tray.

Bar-b-q cocktail weiners
chips and salsa
sausage balls
mixed nuts
spinach dip
shrimp dip

bean&sour cream dip always a winner!!!!

Some of those little sandwich triangles. Those things are the best. They're just the right size.

Something that doesnt go bad if it sits out for a half-hour or so. Also something that is easy to eat and isnt messy.

Bacon wrapped shrimp or scallops are my favorite.

There is always the standards; cheese and crackers, veggies and veggie dip, bread with bread dip. You could also throw in some taco dip with chips (you can find some good recipes for some different kinds of dips on all recipes.com), pizza, chicken wings, things like that.

Cheese Dip, Salsa, Fondue. hope that helped!

I know it's plain but, I can't get enough of raw veggies and ranch dip.

Assuming this is an alcoholic environment, Chips I love Sunchips, taste great and better for you than most. Little sandwiches on different flavored Triscuits are great and there's directions on the box usually. Fruit is always good, broader appeal than vegetables. Cut up sandwiches, burritos or chimichangas, or pita wraps into slices and stick em with toothpicks

Mini sausages, prawn toast, mini pizza slices, fancy crisps (potato chips) or tortillas in a bowl, fresh vegetables sliced into strips (celery, carrot e.t.c) with different dips, cheese and pinapple cubes on cocktail sticks, chicken wings ummm I'm out of ideas now

cheese and crackers, stuffed olives, spinach dip, little meatbolls, hummus, vegetables platter, little sandwiches, nachos, pita pizzas, "french bread" pizzas, bacon wrapped water chestnuts,
and, if you are brave, cheese fondue! it is the best

salsa and chips, California dip, meat & cheese hors D'oeuvres,, fresh vegetable medley (carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, etc. with appropriate dip such as sour cream or perhaps ranch dressing) would be a good start.

I would want nuggets from Chick-fil-a! They have nugget trays and other trays too. They are not very expensive either.

mozzerella sticks
tostitos and beef velveeta with salsa dip
mini pizzas on english muffins tomato sauce and cheese
potato skins
hot wings

medium shrimp, with dip

there are these little keishes that are frozen, they have cheese and spinach, you pop them in the oven for about 7 minuets and serve :)
their sooo good.
and also theres these frozen spiral sandwiches, theres like 3 different kinds.
you just thaw them for an hour or so.

Is it a fancy party or a casual one? If it were casual, I'd say those mini pig in a blanket things, maybe some different kinds of cheese and crackers, or crackers with some kind of dip or topping. As for fancy parties, I don't really have much experience with them so I guess the best advice I can offer is to look in some cookbooks.

CHEESE AND CRACKERS

meat balls and garlic bread
stuffed eggs, pickles cheese and crackers
chips and dip
chili

Jalapeno poppers are good

sandwiches, nachos, homemade cookies, those sausage rolls, spinach dip in a sourdough bowl....

shrimp dip: its easy!!!! and its good.
stuffed jalapeno
spinach dip
rotel and cheese dip
artichoke dip

I would love :

Chicken salad cream puffs

Herbed cream cheese on garlic Parmesan bread with crab meat

A veggie tray with a tangy dip

Fruit skewers ( pineapple, strawberries, melons, grapes, blueberries )

and last but NOT least > 12 layer chocolate ( 6 thin layers of cake with 6 different frostings/cremes layers ) Fabulous!

pumdilcue,
pumpernickle bread, with dill spread on it, then a slice of cucmber. Then if you want add some dill on top of the snack.
it taste so good
