you could do some balloons mabey some streamers if you like that kind of stuff but normaly i just have a sing that says happy birthday on the mantel above the fireplace it also depends on wht kind of party u are having if it has a theme do the decorations around that also some colors that go good together are light blue and green blue and pink purple and blue lime green and hot pink
