Traditional Taiwan Pig Blood Soup!! COOL!! AND GOOOD!!

Dried squid.

SNAKES and CRICKETS!

fried bananas. I don't mean the green ones, I mean the yellow ones, all mushed together and fried, they are extremely delicious.

yep.. squid is up there on my weird list also...

Rattlesnake, I killed it an then cleaned it, it was still slithering in the pan as I fried it with garlic and butter. true story

Cow tongue or stuffed pig's stomach! Both quite tasty if prepared well!!! I also love chicken hearts (breaded and fried are the best)!!!

Mountain Oysters...the balls of a bull. Good stuff.

Calamari, it looks gross when out of the ocean, but tastes really good dunked in the mariana sauce. Now i'm hungry.

Chitterlings. Smells so grooss while cooking even looks like something you just should not eat. But trust me the taste makes up for all of that cuz it is goooooooooood

Tripe stew. Delicious but looks like raw brains.

When I was a child....BOOGERS..didn't we all do that as children ?

guacamole is gross looking and smells funny.
Crawfish are disgusting looking, but good.
smelly? cabbage stinks, but I LOVE cabbage rolls!

don't go there .

Most weirdest looking, disgusting looking, and smelly above all has had to be tripe, what they put in Menudo. But I really love it!

escargot, absolutely love it!
I've tried and will eat just about anything, except for caviar. For some reason, I can't bring myself to eat it. (lol)

I tried some sort of sea weed that was like a tube, dried. It was like eating a bubble gum that tasted like oysters. Weird, disgusting but somehow addictive.

The most disgusting and smelly thing that I've ever tried is fried chicken blood with parsley. Made me want to puke at first but then you get use to it. Tastes like beef.

i am more or less born/bred in the east end of london(cockney)
i'd have to say a racoon liver

i guess that my fried chicken livers and fried green tomatoes aren't really so gross

passion fruit. It is soo weird looking but tastes really good.

tuna fish marinara sauce.....looks awful on pasta---tastes great!

slimey boiled okra

Alligator! breaded and fried, delicious! And I love all sushi.

In Japan, I went to a local mom-n-pop style restaurant and was served...

Cubed Tuna, Cubed Octopus, Natto (fermented soybeans), Ground Daikon Radish, and a Raw Egg

These were all in one cereal-sized bowl, and we were instructed to just stir and eat it in big spoonfulls. It was the slimiest, craziest thing I ever ate, but it really was great!

That night, we also had grilled Pig Uterus on a stick. It was an interesting delicacy with great flavor, but tough texture.

ok, its tame, but caviar. It isn't something I would normally eat, but somehow, when served on those little buttery blinis, and with a little feta and scallions, good caviar tastes good.
it could have been the influence of the alcohol too I guess.
It sure is an icky texture in my opinion though.

Prickly Pear Cactus! Really good and very abundant here in the South.

Scrambled eggs & calf brains with white gravy. My great-grandfather ate it all the time.

We also ate chicken-fried squirrel.
