I need ideas for a raffel prize at a christmas party?!

Question:

I need ideas for a raffel prize at a christmas party?

I'm suppose to create a raffel prize. The theme is "kitchen". I need to buy a "basket" or other and fill it with kitchen type stuff or..food. I have 30 bucks- any ideas?

Answers:
What about a nice "coffee" themed basket? A few gourmet coffees and a couple of decorative mugs, rock candy swizzle sticks and cinnamon sticks.

Santa Cookie Jar very reasonable ,cute, and funtional

A chocolate theme could be fun. Just get lots of different chocolates, hot cocoa, etc. . . . .Or, maybe tea. Buy two nice tea cups, some little towels or placemats, and then some nice flavored teas and cookies.

Get a small tub or container($2.50/walmart), put in kitchen magnets, plastic utensils, pot holders, kitchen towel set($5.00/walmart), candle, kitchen trash bags($2.50/walmart). Then get some clear colored saran wrap and a bow. WRAP IT UP!!!!

The theme idea sounds great. As well as coffee and choc, how about:
Pasta
Fruit
Cakes

Go to Walmart or Target...they have great things for 30 bucks.

Try adding teas..coffees...and hot chocolates

Maybe some mugs

i think coffee, tea, pot holders, dish towel, oven mitt, stuff like that or cheese and crackers and fruit basketwith wine

Find a great recipe that would appeal to a lot of people. Find a bowl or pan or whatever may come in handy in making this dish. Measure out and include all the non perishable ingredients needed for making this recipe. Include some utensils or measuring cups or cutting board...whatever fits in your budget. you could even put all of this on a serving plate or tray. Wrap it all up really pretty and there you go. You may also include a small gift card for a store to purchase the fresh ingredients needed. Don't forget to include the recipe.

pasta bowl... You can get pasta, sauce, garlic, breadsticks.

Salsas, Flavored Vinegars Flavored Oils, Soups,

I make gift baskets all the time - this is what I do - Go to Dollar General - they have CUTE santa or snowman cookie jars for $8.00. Then add Christmas cup towels, Christmas pot holders, red measuring cups, red spatula, whisk, spoons. They have a neat spice rack with the spices for $5.00. They also have green & red sugars, sprinkles to decorate, plus chocolate chips, coconut, candies, marshmallows. They also have cute cookie cutters and rolling pin. Now either buy a large mixing bowl and place all your things inside it starting with your towels and layer it in - and that is your baking theme basket.

instead of a raffle prize have a 50 50 split that means sell dollar chances and the person that Win's gets half, or draw 2 names and give half to one then the other better then a prize that no body wants.
