Foods to serve at a Kids BDay Party?!

Question: Foods to serve at a Kids BDay Party!?
I am having a birthday party for my 5 year old daughter and 1 year old son!. What are some good foods that I can serve (its a halloween party) I dont want anything gruesome, like the string cheese that looks like fingers and stuff!. That is too much for the little kids!. The party is going to be outside, because of the HUGE guest list!.!.!. and it might be a little cold, this time of year you can never tell around here!. So, I need to know what would be good to serve!. We are definetly having cupcakes that look like pumpkins and a tropical punch that I am going to put a couple of packets of unsweetened orange koolaid in to give it color!. I will probably decorate with jack-o-lanterns and orange and black streamers and balloons!. We have asked the children guests to wear their costumes!. PLease help!.!.!. I am so stumped!. I thought we would have hot dogs and homemade chili, but I was late in reserving my shelter and now there is a very huge chance that we wont be able to get under a shelter and I wont have an outlet to plug in a crockpot for the chili!. I dont want to cook AT THE PARTY, like grill, because after all I am having 2 SMALL childrens parties, without a lot of help!.!.!. there is alot that I am going to have to do!.!.!. so if I could offer premade foods, then that would be great! :) Www@FoodAQ@Com

I work for a national brand meat and cheese company - i will leave that name out!. But I would suggest you take the easy route - go to your local deli - order some sub sandwiches!. with a sharp knife you can cut the sandwiches into "rounds" about half an inch thick - you can generally get l5-l8 rounds from an average sub!. I suggest this as they will be easy for you, easy for kids to handle and a hit with your guests - and if you live in a part of the country where we do business try to use our products-lol!. Have a fun time and relax - your kids will remember the love not the details!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Kids love cheese and crackers - keep it simple as for flavours - like cheddar and saltines!. If you want to get creative lay out the cheeses and crackers to look like a pumpkin!. Veggies and dip are good too!. To make a skeleton layout, (and get more ideas) checkout this web page:
