Have everybody bring a regular main dish, dessert, salad, chips or something to drink!. With 80 people bringing stuff, you can have a real nice spread for very little money per person!. They wouldn't even have to spend much!.

Decide how many maindishes, desserts etc that you will need, pass the list around and have people check what type they are brining!.

Example:
20 maindishes
10 sidedishes
10 salads
10 desserts
30 2 or 3 liter bottles of soft drink (each person can bring 2 or 3 because softdrinks are cheap)
20 appetizers
etc!.!.
