I live in Minneapolis too! Most restaurants are cool with it!. But not with bringing your own cake!. They may charge a cutting fee or plate fee!. I would call ahead!. also make a reservation with that many people!.

I've been to several b-day parties at restaurants and they've made a stink when we brought our own cake/cupcakes even when we brought paper plates or plastic silverware!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes, Every restaurant has its own rules/policies though, so call and see if you need reservations etc!. also some restaurants charge a "cake plating" fee for serving your cake!.

I would rather have everyone come back to my house for cake and juice/coffee after the party or get the cake through the restaurant and avoid the fee for cutting/plating it!.

I don't live in Minneapolis, but it is my experience that most restaurants are ok with this!. Just call in advance to make sure it is ok (and if it is possible, it would be best to make a reservation for a large group of people)Www@FoodAQ@Com

all restaurants are okay with parties as long as you call ahead and let them know what you are doing if your bringing your own cake check with them first!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
