Fundraiser - chocolate fountain / chocolate - your ideas please?!

Question: Fundraiser - chocolate fountain / chocolate - your ideas please!?
we are having a fund-raiser for orphans and are having a chocolate fountain on our uni campus!.

what things could we put in the fountain!?

we're having 5 items on a skewer - how much do you think we should charge!?

what else could we have!? - we're gona have chocolate coated strawberries already madeWww@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
How about charging per the item!? For example, if one of your dippers
is marshmallows, and someone would like to buy five marshmellows,
they obviously would be cheaper than someone wanting five pineapple
chunks!.

I would sell the items individually instead of on the skewer!.

Other dippers:
Graham crackers (not on the skewer obviously)
Pineapple chunks
Butter cookies
Pretzels
Dried fruit
Apples
Grapes
Have some whipped cream available (at an extra charge of course)
Coffee, juices, and diet (yes DIET) soda!.

Be sure to figure in your cost for skewers, napkins, plates, etc!.
This is a great idea!. May we use it for our school!? Www@FoodAQ@Com

Hi mrs m, it would be great to know what the other five items are, but, here is a rule of thumb!. Add up your costs, like the costs of items including skewers!. Take lets say your costs divide that by 98!. So if your total cost is $150 your cost per skewer works out to $1!.53, You add your percentage on top for your profit margin!. Keep in mind "if" the skewers were donated add the price of them in your cost!.

The figures above are only a guide mrs m, but if you sell 200 skewers, at $2!.00 your profit would be $94!.00!. Remember the more items you have the more your costs, keep it simple!. Even if items are donated there has to be some costs or value!. I am not an accountant or maths expert mrs m!. Go from there!.

Good luck

1st think is to decide if you want to use milk chocolate, white chocolate or dark chocolate - if you want you can then add some liqueur to the Chocolate to add a little bit of interest to it!.

Thins that are good for dipping are various types of fruits, marshmallows, biscuits and cake!.
