Where to find this serving dish?!
A friend told me she had heard about a veggie serving platter that has a separate place under the veggies for ice to keep everything chilled while serving!. I want to find one!. Does anyone know where I can get it and what it is called!? Thanks!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

most kitchen stores have them now!. William Sonoma,Sur la Taub, whatever is near you!. It is to keep food especially seafood and mayonnaise from spoiling during your party!. If you have ever tasted shrimp that's been sitting out for 2-3 hrs you know what I mean!. I think even Fred Meyer had some!. Hope this helped!. Good Luck!Www@FoodAQ@Com
Hi ajjmh!. Here is a tip for you, when I need nic nacs for my kitchen or for presentation purposes I usually go the the commercial kitchen suppliers!. Look up your yellow pages for at least two that are close to you!. Check out the in store/warehouse bargain counters also, great stuff there!. I got mine from Cohens up here!. Another place I have found things just by chance was Linen Chest, strange but true!.
Now if you don't want to go to the expense try this, use a deeper serving platter, use crushed ice on the bottom, cover the ice with foil, then a bed of lettuce on top of the foil for presentation purposes with your veggies on top!.
