Recipe for home made chocolate mouusse??

Answers:
Here's the easier way to do it: especially if you have the magic bullet like i do.

Ingredients:
30 % Cream
Chocalate sryup

1. Make sure the container your putting this in is cold unles you have the Magic Bullet then it doesn't matter. This just helps to make it whip easier and makes it thicker. Take the cream and pour it into the container with the chocolate syrup.
2. Blend away! You can use a blender, hand blender, onE of those big kitchen aid mixers, hand mixer, the magic bullet, it just has to be powerful enough, and I mean powerful!

Two easy steps and a very yummy achievement!

Personal Experience

I dont know if this is truly "homemade", but I make a KILLER chocolate mousse by mixing Jello instant chocolate pudding and cool whip. Takes only minutes to prepare, and if the people you make it for are as provincial as the people I do, they will never know the diff.

Chocolate Mousse
1/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 tablespoon water
1 egg yolk, lightly beaten
1-1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/2 cup whipping cream
1 tablespoon sugar
Whipped cream, optional
In a small heavy saucepan, melt chocolate chips with water over low heat; stir until smooth. Stir a small amount of hot chocolate mixture into egg yolk; return all to the pan, stirring constantly. Cook and stir for 2 minutes or until slightly thickened. Remove from the heat; stir in vanilla. Cool, stirring several times.
In a mixing bowl, beat whipping cream until it begins to thicken. Add sugar; beat until soft peaks form. Fold in cooled chocolate mixture. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Garnish with whipped cream if desired. Yield: 2 servings.
