I used to make between 30-40 baskets (twice a year) for a Duplicate Bridge Tournament raffle / door prizes:) !.!.!. A good quality bottle opener (with the "wings" on the sides"); wine charms; a Brie and some water crackers; jars of appetizer spreads (caviar, pesto, bruschetta); jars of gourmet olives; A big wine coaster; towels and/or oven mitts with wine motif!.!.!.!.!.!.When you tie the clear cellophane around it; tie with raffia at the top and add a bunch of artificial grapes!.!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I got a wine basket for a wedding gift and it was awesome! By far, my favorite gift!.

It had:
A few bottles of wine
A nice corkscrew
2 matching wine stems
a bottle of olive oil with herbs & two dishes to dip bread in
1 baguette
a little wooden cutting board and a cheese knife
2 nice kitchen towels

I got married in october so she filled the rest of the basket with freshly fallen leaves - it was gorgeous and thoughtful and really the only gift i remember!. I think that it would probably get bids!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
