What food can I serve for an 8 year olds birthday party?!

Question:

What food can I serve for an 8 year olds birthday party?

I am throwing a sports themed party for my 8 year old son and I have no idea on what to serve. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Answers:
baseball sized cakes. crackerjack candy, coke, hamburgers.

Think sports get your Hot dogs here!! ,peanuts, popcorn

Think fingerfood!

pizza.

Buy some pre-made pizza doe and have them make their own pizza's with all kinds of different toppings.

You could to french bread pizza or hotdogs like they have at games. And some snack stuff like chips and/or popcorn

Pizza. A simple answer I know, but it is always a favorite. My twins are now ten, and more often than not pizza is what they ask for at their birthday parties. Make it easy on yourself. Cheese and pepperoni are the most popular toppings for children at this age. You can't go wrong.

Hot dogs, hamburgers, potato chips, veggies with dip, finger jello, nuts, a little candy, sport theme cake, ice cream.

Anything of that sort would work! :o)

Pizza ! What kid doesn't like PIZZA ? I love pizza, I stopped aging at 12, it's really the most comfortable age for me, ask my wife !

my kids love dogs in a blanket, ie: buy some canned bisquits or croisant rolls. and hotdogs.. wrap up the hotdogs in a bisquit, pop into oven and bake till browned. (I half the dogs to make them more mini kid sized)
also you can do mini pizzas. with just about anything. if you cant find mini pizza bottoms, cut a french loaf into slices, toast bottoms, then on top, pop some ketchup, cheese and a couple of olives or pepperoni, (or thinly sliced hotdog coins) bake for 8-10min till cheese melts.
big bowls of assorted chips, cheetos, doritoes, lays, etc. chocolate cake is a must, all kids like chocolate cake. and a huge bowl of cheapo individually wrapped candies to grab and stick in pockets for later. (mine love this, I dont know why, they are horders) .. and the utmost love is rice crispee treats (recipe on rice crispee cereal)

pizza, and non spicy chicken wings

since they are all around 8 year old kids, finger foods would be good.

pizza
hot dog
fried chicken
corn dog
hamburger
tacos
green salad
potato salad
soup

ice cream
big cake or pie

soda
tea
juice

pizza, hotdogs, hamburgers what you would normally have at a party duh

cant go wrong with pizza

hot dogs...chips and dip...a cake and ice cream..and punch

Uhm, you can ask him what they & their friends love to eat. Probably nachos, hot dogs, hamburgers & some cake. And please don't forget Kool-Aid.

go to allrecipes.com..type in cream cheese penguins..they are sooooooooooooo cute..very cheap to make and with the popularity of all of the penguin movies right now, i am sure that all the kids will love them!!! BUT--to get my full gist, you have to see the cute picture of them on allrecipes! Hope that helps! (they are actually the featured recipe of the week 12/13/06 and are on the home page right now!)

anything under junk unless they are FAT kids :j
