egg turner-a spatula is the thing you scrape the bowl of cake mix out with.

The word "spatula", known in English since 1525, is a diminutive of the Latin term spatha, which means a broad sword (as in spatharius) or a flat piece of wood and is also the origin of the words spade (digging tool) and spathe.

Usually a spatula

I was going to say spatula, but other than that I have heard it called a flipper. Not sure how formal that is though.

My grandmother always asked for the pancake turner.

ITs a trick question. If your flipping the eggs in the pan then you dont need a utensil.. Just flip in the pan.
