Surprise Party for someone who doesn't want a party?!

Question: Surprise Party for someone who doesn't want a party!?
My mom doesn't want a birthday party for her 50th, but i want to do a big surprise one and invite friends from out of state!.
Is it okay if I throw a party anyways!?!?

And how could I accomplish this!? Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
very sweet of you! should be fine - unless she hates parties or hates turning 50 (I would still do it, but I wouldn't have signs all over the placing stating '50' years)
I'd send out the invites now - or at least a save the date card or email!. Especially if people need time to make reservations!. Usually its 6weeks in advance, but when people have to travel, the earlier the better I think!.
Figure out where you are going to have the party and what your budget is!. Then the menu, decorations, and how you are getting your mom to the party! Www@FoodAQ@Com

YES- YOUR MOM WILL BE HAPPY TO SEE PEOPLE she hasn't seen in awhile!

ASK a relative to help you! Maybe do it at their house or rent a hall depending on how many people you will invite! Have everyone help make food for party or have it catered!
Send a fake invite for someone else party so she thinks she is going to a party and won't be surprised to see all cars and people she knows!. Have someone call her and say if they can come pick them up for party so you know they will get there! Make sure everyone knows party is for another person and that it is a surprise party! My aunt did that for her mom 80th birthday party! She sent her a fake invitation for someone else party! And then called the person up and asked that person to call her to BAKE HER SPECIAL CAKE for that party so she had to go to party! iT WAS FUNNY!She made her own cake for her own party!!! She was surprised!

GOOD LUCK!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

yes, she probobly does not want a party because she does not want to orginize it and plan it!. If you do all the work she will have nothing to worry about and she will have fun!. And best of all she will be suprised! Good Luck!Www@FoodAQ@Com

the first thing is that you have to make it specially fit for her!.

For example if she is still with your dad maybe you can give her something that will remind her

or something that is captivatingWww@FoodAQ@Com

yes you should still throw her a party so she knows you care and so she feels like she is needed!. =D
and send invitatins out like a month early or sumthing!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
