Find a theme and build from there if it is a sweet sixteen party go to a local party supplier and see what they have!. Take a pen and pad with you and jot down ideas!. Then find something she is known for does she talk on the phone all the time!? Use that for the theme have a cake made with a phone one it, then select the foods and give them interesting names like 911 chili, 411 salad!. It is only limited by your imagination!. A theme is definitely the way to go!. I don't know what kind of budget you're on, but an 80's throwback party is ALWAYS a good time!. And it's cheap!. You will have fun seeing what people can come up with!. Even if you weren't around for the 80's, it's always a good time!.
