Whats a good recipe for salmon?

I always poach my salmon. I put a strainer like for vegetables for steaming in a frying pan. I add water up to the feet of the strainer and let it poach until the salmon looks all white in color. It don't really take long. I just like some lemon, salt and pepper but by husband loves this dill sauce that comes in a bottle. You can get it near the fish department.
My favorite salmon recipe is also the simplest. I grill (indoor grill pan) the salmon quickly at a high temp. I serve it with a sauce made from melted butter and grainy mustard.
My favorite is using a bottled teriaki sauce on top and baking.
I once put a canned cranberry sauce on top and it was surprisingly good.
Cook It!!!!
Just kidding...
Take some foil, layer some onion and garlic and parsley on the foil, drizzle with salt and pepper and olive oil, lay salmon on top, salt, pepper and olive oil that and wrap in the foil so it cannot drip and put in oven at 400 for 20 minutes.

put them in a bowl,
coat them wit olive oil, salt, pepper and pour a bottle of MAKOTA GINGER DRESSING-
(I buy mine at Publix by the salads in the refrigerated part)....

(depends on amount, thickness of fillet, and what you like...etc)

Lay a fat steak (or better, half salmon) on tin foil, cover it with uncooked red and yellow peppers, mushrooms, almond slivers, some lemon juice, sage, marjoram (or lemon pepper seasoning for a slightly different taste). Cut a few slabs of butter and lay them on top of the whole thing. Wrap the tin foil around the whole thing, bake it at 350 for about an hour (50 min? depending) Slide on to a platter and enjoy! Super easy, incredibly tasty. Doesn't dry out, won't last long.
Brown Sugar
Cumin
Cayenne pepper
Take 2 TBSP of the sugar, and 1 TBSP each of Cumin and Cayenne pepper. Mix in bowl. Sprinkle /Rub on the top of the salmon. Bake in oven until done.
This is easy and tastes gourmet.
Here is a wonderful holiday recipe. I made this for my MIL on Thanksgiving, and she loved it!

First choice.Take a salmon filet and top it with teriaki sauce and some honey.
I normally bake it for 12 minutes and then finish it under the broiler.
Second choice--I also use the same receipe that Margo G gave you.
