How do you make the best peach cobbler?
Answers:
1 cup sugar
1 cup flour (self-rising)
1 cup milk
1 can of peaches - drained(in lite syrup - because the lite syrup is thinner and will drain off easier)
stir/whisk sugar, flour, and milk in a glass loaf pan until thoroughly mixed. add drained can of peaches -stir- bake on 375 for 45 mins to an hour - till golden brown and "crackling" on top.
buy Mrs. Smith frozen peach cobbler and follow the directions on the package. :-)

Peach Mix:
2 peaches, diced
2 tablespoons butter
1 vanilla bean
1/4 cup light brown sugar
1/4 cup brandy
Biscuit Topping:
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons cornmeal
1/4 cup sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
Pinch salt
4 tablespoons unsalted butter- melted
1/3 cup buttermilk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
Saute peaches in butter, then add vanilla bean and sugar, and flambe with brandy.
Mix all dry ingredients with the melted butter, buttermilk, and vanilla until a dough is formed. Fill ovenproof dish with peach mixture, top with biscuit mixture, then bake for 15 to 20 minutes at 375 degrees until golden brown.
Serve with vanilla ice cream, garnish with fresh peach and raspberry puree.

well my friend makes that he does it by getting cake mix and then makes that then gets a can of peaches or apples and then i am not sure if he just sticks it in this special pan or somthing and gets the pot and put it over a really hot fire. we used the camp fire.
This is one of the best peach cobblers you will ever taste!
Ingredients
Cobbler filling:
4 cups Peeled and sliced fresh peaches (blanch in boiling water for 30 seconds to remove the skins)
3/4 cup Brown sugar
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
1 teaspoon Vanilla
1 tablespoon Flour
Cobbler crust:
1 cup Flour
1 teaspoon Baking powder
1/2 teaspoon Baking soda
3 tablespoons Brown sugar
4 tablespoons Unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
2/3 cup Buttermilk
Preparation
Generously butter a 1 1/2-quart shallow baking dish. Place the sliced peaches in the dish and sprinkle with brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, and flour. Mix gently and spread evenly again. Bake for 10 minutes.
Meanwhile combine all dry ingredients for cobbler crust in a bowl. Cut in the butter with a pastry cutter or your fingers, to make the texture like coarse crumbs. Add buttermilk and stir to form a soft dough.
Remove fruit from oven and drop rounded spoonfuls of dough on top. Sprinkle with last tablespoon of brown sugar and return to oven. Bake until fruit is bubbly and crust topping is golden brown, about 20 minutes. Serve warm with whipped cream. ( or ice cream :)

Yummy recipe and easy too:
2 large Cans peaches
1 pkg butter pecan or yellow or white cake mix
2 cups coconut
2 cups chopped pecans or walnuts
1 stick melted butter
place peaches in baking pan pour dry cake mix on top, pour coconut and pecans on top, drizzle butter on top, bake at preheated 375 degree oven for 30-45 minutes or until top is golden brown and bubbling. If you dont like coconut or walnuts, they can be omitted. Enjoy, this is a big hit recipe!!
