Definitely do not have sex or alcohol. That will make it very memorable but bad. Try getting big blow up toys. It may seem like little kiddish but for some reason it all ways makes the party funner. That is if it is going to be outdoors! Definitely lots of food but more snaky things. Just remember even if the party is horrible its about you turning 18 not a party. Make it fun for you by doing things you enjoy. If you like formal go that way. If you like sporty things get outdoors and invite your Friends to come help YOU celebrate.

get some beer, rent a limo and cruise the city then go home and play loud music and eat w/ your friends

retro parties are always fun...my favorite era is the 80's ....i was born in 81 and i was a little kid during the time...but i really enjoy the music and the energy of the time...i think you would have a blast making an 80's outfit...watching old 80's movies...playin 80's music...look up some stuff and see what parties were like in the 80's...have karaoke to the 80's..dance offs....that would be a blast...happy birthday and good luck to ya!!!
