Kendall are you having the special event at home!?

Are you having fish!? Soup, steak or chicken, or roast of veal!? Is it ice cream, sorbet or cake!? All the variables come into play when the table is set!. We do not place the fish fork out if your not having fish, If your going to have Rib Steak or a New York Strip, then a steak knife is the order of the day!. also forks are not the same size, a salad fork is smaller than a main course fork!.!. The same goes for your good crystal, the water glass is closer to you followed by the wine glass and then champagne flute furthest away!. however if there is going to be an opening toast, then the champagne flute will be first!.

We do not set up for all courses if your not having all your set up for!.!.

Hope I was of help

The above is right - start with the pieces on the outside, and work your way in - and if you use the wrong piece, dont worry, waitstaff in a really classy joint will (very subtly) let you know, and will not take away the wrong piece without offering an immediate replacement!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The general rule is that you use from the outside in toward the plate as the courses are served!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
