Every Friday night we have supper at 7 oclock,?!
anyone and everyone is invited, sometimes we have 30 people there!.Our friends, our childrens friends, employees, It has been a great learning experience for our kids, we talk about all subjects and the kids have always been included, my 96 year old mother usually picks the first subject!.!.!.!.we have friends of all colors, religions, gay, straight, little people, my question finally!.!.!.!.how do I stop it!.!.!.!.Im tired, we have been doing this for over 15 years!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

At the next dinner, when you have the floor, just tell everyone you want to take a break from hosting and the floor is open to anyone who wants to start volunteering to host!. It sounds like a great ritual and something you love to do, but maybe it would be better for you to get a break from hosting it for a while so you can fall in love with it again!. OR, you can suggest you start doing it only one Friday a month, such as First Friday of each month!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Don't stop! Maybe change the tradition by moving the dinner from house to house so you only host once per month or have the dinner every other week but I guarantee that your family will never be the same without it!.
My grandmother had Sunday dinner every week at her house and when she quit and no one continued the tradition, the family lost contact!. There are now family feuds, suits, etc that would have been unimaginable before!.
I have started the tradition at my home with my family with the stipulation that no one is forced to come and there is no penalty for missing a week or whatever but you are always invited!. We look forward to it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I would suggest that you tell the crowd that the New Year will be the time for a New Tradition!. Suggest that the dinner party become mobile and everyone should take a turn hosting it at their house!. That way, the fun can continue and the same people are not burdened with the hosting and all that that entails each week!. It will also allow the tradition to take on a new life (maybe different themes at different houses, etc)Www@FoodAQ@Com
Ask everyone if they would like to host a Friday night open house!. Let everyone know it's getting too much for you to do every Friday!. Or you can change it to one Friday a month and have it at a different house each time!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
