No candles!!!! Candles is for birthday and anniversary's

Usually candles are not a thing for a babyshower cake.

No
the decor should be good enough. Candles are just for birthdays.

NO candles are for birthdays..not a baby shower cake.....
how many would you put on the cake if you did anyway?...her age?..how many months pregnant she is?...no clue...
DEFINITELY NO CANDLES

yes get them

I don't think that candles are necessary on any cake but a birthday cake, unless your guest of honor would like to make a wish in light of her upcoming birth. Let her decide.

It all depends on the person

Usually I'd say no, definitely don't put regular birthday-candle type candles on a baby shower cake....
But the other day I saw these cute little candles shaped like rubber duckies!! Those would be perfect on a baby shower cake!!!
I hope they put them on my baby shower cake!! (I'm 6 months preg, so it should be coming up soon!!)
Whatever you decide, have FUN!

No candles... What do you need candles for? Candles are for birthdays.

Here is an answer that is 'in between'.

Instead of candles, get those skinny sticks that let out lots of sparks when lit... it is not birthday-like, but it is definitely very festive and will not hurt the cookie-cake.
