One where I do not cook or clean.

Candles, no children and wine & cheese...dessert ?

I agree with mommy...if I don't have to do this dishes, that is romantic.

Great eats, candle lite, soft music and fine woman to share it with:)

One where DH takes me out.

A romantic dinner is when you are at a secluded beach and your date cook you a homemade dinner and you are at a table with a candle on the middle. Another romantic dinner is when you eat at a restaurant and their is nice music playing while you are eating.

With ur lover in a dark secluded place with candles lit all arround and fancy homecooked food and wine lots and lots of wine and classical music playing sofly in the background as u and ur lover talk about things such as sex , people , goverment ,theater ,music , and joking around then after that some fooling around.

A romantic dinner is a meal shared with that special someone ... doesn't matter whether you're dining on Kraft Dinner or Prime Rib. Of course, you can always improve the ambience with dim lighting, soft music, no distractions ...

No cooking.
No cleaning.
As little food as possible so that we can get to the romantic part sooner.

A romantic dinner for a man or a woman? You should specify. For a woman, start out with a creamy or steamy soup, then a colorful salad (of greens, crutons, nuts...lots of nuts!) with ranch dressing, and finish off with chocolate covered strawberries or chocolate ice cream (feed each other). If you are planning a romantic dinner that is going to be followed by some action, I would suggest aphroisiacs such as oysters and clams, food with a hint of garlic, and other finger foods (finger foods get you in the mood). Also, a romantic dinner is anything but romantic without the alcohol. I would make my boyfriend and I pina colada and that puts us in the mood. Have a nice time! Here is my own version of a recipe for pina colada:
8 ice cubes
3 ounzes of pina colada mix
three pineapple chunks (from the can)
1 tablespoon of coconut rum or
chocolate liquor

to each, it's own, with some one you love, sharing the last sandwich on a muddy path on the way home in the open country, in the raining summer evening.
