Throwing a Christmas/Birthday dinner party?!

Question: Throwing a Christmas/Birthday dinner party!?
My birthday is a few days after Christmas and im turning 17 so I want to throw a dinner party with a winter theme (white, silver, gold, red, green) at my house!. My house isn't that big and I'm inviting 13 friends (although not all of them will be able to come, I presume) so I cant actually serve dinner, it'll have to be a buffet!.

So my questions are:

-What are 3 sweet things, 3 savory things, and 2 beverages I could serve!? Winter/Xmas themes, please!. Maybe one warm drink and one cold!? Recipes appreciated but not necessary!.

-What Christmasy movies can we watch (not cartoons)!?

-Do you know any Christmas songs that have been remixed or something to give it a modern and more fun twist!?

-Decoration ideas!? D!.I!.Y!. preferred!.

-Invitation ideas!? I want something easy and simple but fun!. Things to include in invitation: Time, place, date, dress code, and the fact that it is a birthday and christmas party!.

-Party favour ideas!?

By the way, I have a budget of about 70 dollars for decorations, and my parents will pay for the food!.

Thanks so much!

Answers:
Menu-
Sweet things:
Sugar Cookies, a nice pie or tart, and a red velvet cake!. Please note while these are all vegetarian, they are not VEGAN recipes!.

Savory things:
A winter vegetable medley stir-fry with no meat over a bed of rice, a vegetable broth based light soup, and oriental salad!.

Beverages:
Hot apple cider and Eggnog!

Movie:
Miracle On 34th St!. The one with Mara Wilson that was made in the nineties!. Good flick!. If you want something a little less whimsical go with it's a wonderful life!.

Music:
I only know one song like that "All I Want For Christmas Is You" by Mariah Carey!.

Decorations:
Use strings of lights, and regular christmas decorations along with red, green, and gold streamers!.

Invitations:
You could make little ancient looking scrolls, and seal them with wax!. It's actually pretty easy to do with a lighter, some brown staining liquid (like tea), and a candle!.

Party favors:
Hand out little ornaments and some christmas cookies!. It will be a nice touch!.

Hope everything goes well!. :)Www@FoodAQ@Com
