Fancy dress?
I have got a fancy dress party on New Years eve. I need some suggestions. There isn't really a theme, it's just go as someone they will be able to recognise. A suggestion for my husband would be good as well. Maybe a famous couple? Or a couple in a film? Please help.

Go as James bond films, spray your finger gold and go as "Goldfinger", spray a gun (fake optional) gold for your Husband and he can go as " The man with the golden gun".
Donald and Bulangia (sp?) Trump. THat one would be really easy to do. Tux and a bad wig for him, and you get to look absolutely flawless and play up the cleavage...
I would do beyonce and Jay-Z. or maybe johnny and baby from Dirty Dancing. or someone in a book like the notebook.and do Ali

or do the red dress and tux like Julia Roberts did in Pretty Woman!

Bond and the Bond look is in right now. Everyone of every age will reconize who you guys are, and if they don't, you still look classy! Pick one of the girls with a real obvious name like ***** galore. I'd stay away from props for a fancy party. They will just be a pain in the neck to carry, and they look a little tacky.
I've done my fair share of fancy dress and I think that whatever you go as make sure you'll be comfy for the night. Wear familiar shoes and don't bother with props like wands etc that you'll have to carry, especially if they're hired, as they'll get lost. Think about what you'll be bothered with once your plastered. Wigs and hats get hot then once you take then off you have bad hair. I'm starting to sound like a kill joy but I don't mean it to come across that way. Just chose your outfits wisely to make sure your costumes don't hinder you fun.
With your husbands costume, put him in something you find hot and vice versa, then have your own fancy dress session later!
