Something different for New Year's Eve?!

Question:

Something different for New Year's Eve?

I'm all partied out, don't want to watch Times Square. Want and evening at home with my honey. What should we do? More creative the champagne and movies.

We're boring people for NYE. We'll probably cook all day because we both love it. Probably something in the crockpot plus a casserole thing with veggies on the side. We'll lounge around in our sweats, watch whatever's on TV, have champagne and port (thanks for reminding me I need to get a bottle for him!), play board games (we always have a blast doing that) and see if he can stay up until midnight. Oh, and a fire in the fireplace, a blanket and pillows on the floor, and just veg out.

He'll probably have to work the next day, so we can't get too out of hand. Sex might be involved though. :)

HAVE YOU TOLD HIM ABOUT THE BABY YET OR ARE YOU STILL HOLDING OUT FOR XMASS? IF YOU HAVEN'T TOLD HIM, YOU'RE REALLY GOOD AT KEEPING SECRETS. SINCE THIS NEW YEAR WILL BE A NEW BEGINNING FOR THE BOTH OF YOU AND EVENTUALLY THE BABY WHY NOT START IT OFF BY MAKING PLANS FOR YOUR FUTURE. HAVE A LITTLE BABY SHOWER, JUST THE TWO OF YOU. EACH OF YOU CAN BUY A LITTLE SPECIAL GIFT FOR THE BABY AS A KEEPSAKE OF NEW BEGINNINGS. HAVE A REALLY HEALTHY SUPPER, MILK INCLUDED. PLAN A VACATION BEFORE YOU GET TO FAR ALONG TO ENJOY IT AND TO HECK WITH STAYING UP TO WATCH THE BALL DROP. YOU NEED YOUR REST, SO SNUGGLE UP AND FALL ASLEEP DREAMING ABOUT THE BEAUTIFUL NEW LIFE THE LIES AHEAD. SLEEP IS A PRECIOUS COMMODITY FOR NEW MOMS AND DADS, NEVER TAKE IT FOR GRANTED, YOU'LL NEVER KNOW HOW GOOD IT FEELS UNTIL YOUR UP EVERY FEW HOURS WITH THE NEW LITTLE ONE. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!

Go to the grocery store and get a small party platter - maybe some sushi if you like it. Get a few sweet things, like petit fours. Champagne is a must!

If you are in the Southeast you may be able to watch the Peach Drop at Underground Atlanta on TV. (I'm not sure how widely that is broadcast.) Or, you can recap the year that is now ending - the top national and local news stories, who died, personal events.
