Question:

Store bought holiday office party finger foods?Help!?

Party starts very soon, and I left the food i made at home so I am making a run to the local grocer. What is something cheap i can get for the office party?Pre-made only!

Answers:
Lovely olives, a wedge of creamy brie, and a foccacia, sliced very thin. Have fun, and Merry Christmas!

sugar cookies and fruit cakes are an extreme BIGGIE.
and you can get a veggie tray go buy tropical punch and some little subs can do the trick.

You're pretty much going to be limited to what you can find at the store. Check the salad section, check the bakery, and check frozen foods. You might find some struesel bites, or brownie bites, or even a frozen bag of chicken tenders or something like that. As a last resort, get a veggie or fruit tray.

Stop by the deli and bakery, they should have plenty of pre-made stuff out. You could always go for one of those Meat trays.

In the frozen foods isle, you can find cheesecakes and stuff too.

Get one of those bread bowls with spinach dip inside. DELICIOUS and cheap.

Go to the deli, and buy a few pounds of pasta salad, and then head over to the isle where they sell the big plastic bowls, pick one up along with a big serving spoon. Most large grocery stores have this stuff.

Bring it all back to work and dump all the pasta salad in the big bowl, slap the spoon in it.

-Hummus and Pita Chips

-Assorted cheeses, sliced salami/pepperoni and water crackers
(You can buy a few of the shape cheeses in the butter area- stars, circles, etc.) Add gourmet olives and you have a great tray.

-Chips and Salsa- can't go wrong

dip
