What is your favorite part of Christmas other than getting presents?!

Question:

What is your favorite part of Christmas other than getting presents?

Answers:
The night before Christmas- having an open house. Having friends and family just stopping in for a drink and a laugh. Eating good food, enjoying the smells and sights. Christmas lights on houses, songs on the radio, the smell of the tree...

Making cookies and candy with my mother-in-law and seeing all my family laugh and smile at the same time, and just seeing everyone enjoy the gift of giving......

Spending time with my family and giving my daughter presents.

just being with my family. I have the best family and we all have so much love for each other and Christmas is truly a celebration of that!

Spending quality time with loved ones.

wrapping/giving presents, and spending time with family members.

Bringing everything down from the attic and decorating the house!

LIGGHTSS!!! OOO AHH!! Ok i'm here now LoL. I also LOVE singing Christmas carols and giving to people!

knowing all the people that cares about you. how? cause they all call you

aside from the standard "family and friends" answer (which i agree with), i like snow!

Being able to celebrate it with my family being all together and acting as a family should. Christmas and Thanksgiving are the only times my family and by family I mean, Grandmother, aunts, uncles, cousins, etc, that is the only times we get together and all have dinner and set around and talk, laugh,etc...

Watching my daughter get all excited to see Santa, sing the songs and see all her presents Christmas morning under the tree.

I enjoy the beautiful lights and other decorations. And I love to watch kids get sooo excited about it all. That's fun!

Food!

the best of christmas for me is seeing my family because most of them don't live near me, save my eldest sis and brother. so that's the best part for me!

your family time

The Christmas beer. Good beer companies and other micro breweries come out with special 'Christmas' style beers. These are different than seasonal winter style beers. They're just so good!

Check out Samuel Adams Fezziwig for a great Christmas beer.

Family, food, and drink. In that order.
It's one of the only times of year I see them, and not only do I love them, but they put on a hell of a spread!

spending time with my family and making cookies and cakes!!!!!

The warm feeling I get inside from being around my family and friends.

Getting presents was never my favorite part of Christmas really, I just love listening to Christmas music (which all my friends think is extremely dorky). I like the cold feeling we use to get, no anymore though since in Texas we barely get cold weather. But watching T.V, all covered in fluffy stuff, with Hot Chocolate, and a happy feeling is really great. I always travel to Mexico for my family, and that feels phenomenal too!

Can you tell I love Christmas?

giving presents to children

Getting together with the people you love and your closest friends and spend some warm and joyful time together, full of happiness and peace with nice food...

Cooking and eating

1. Volunteer work to make Christmas a little easier for people who can't afford much.

2. All the parties and socializing!

Definitely the food!!

Especially if I get to cook, I love trying out new fancy recipes and getting to use the nice dishes and all that.

I also like giving gifts to people that I KNOW they're going to love!

Watching the little ones eyes as they wait for Santa and quality time with family and friends...I think the whole Christmas season has a magical feeling
