Opinions wanted re: a surprise party?!

Question: Opinions wanted re: a surprise party!?
I am throwing a surprise birthday party for my husband this weekend!.

My question is:

#1: Should I have everyone park down the street, hide inside, keep the decorations inside and then yell "surprise" so that we can see the expression on his face!?

OR

#2: Should I have everyone park near the house and decorate the front yard with "Happy Birthday" signs and balloons in the front yard and have everyone out in the front yard to surprise him!?

I'm undecided about which way to do it, but I am leaning towards one way!.!.!.!.

Please specify scenario #1 or scenario #2 and why!.

Thanks for the input!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I think you'll get a better reaction with scenario #1!. That's the whole point of a surprise party - the surprise part!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I like #2!. That way he's surprised in public!. And it helps if you have neighbors who might see it, and it'll be a topic of conversation whenever you or he run into them at the store, church, wherever!. I like it, it's original!Www@FoodAQ@Com

definitely #1 -- this way he'll be surprised all at once !

if you do #2, he'll wind up seeing some people first, then figure it out by the time he gets out of his car!. he'll be surprised, but you'll totally lose the 'wow' factor!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

number 2 is unique, but remember weather can be unpredictable!.!.!.!. but i like number 2Www@FoodAQ@Com

Number 2!.!.!.its more exciting i think to see it all in front!.!.everyone does the other!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
