What's the scoop on Asian new year's parties in Chicago?

Visiting Chicago from SF with some friends for New Year's. Wanted to figure out the scene of the various Asian parties in Chicago. Have heard of Ginseng at Ontourage, something at Cherry Red, and CSGguestlist. older/younger? more chinese/korean/mixed? others?
