How to start a food drive?!
i want to start a food drive in my community but how do me and my friends begin with it!? how do we get people to donate food!?

start it in your school! make tons of fun fliers and post them up all over - on lockers, walls, classrooms, etc!. also, see if you can have an announcement made about your food drive on the announcements at school!. put boxes in homerooms, main doors, etc!. also offer incentives for students to give food!. at my school, if you bring in a canned good (or $), you can wear a hat or your pjs in school!.
try starting your drive in multiple places!. your school, your churches, your clubs, etc!.
try alternatives to collecting food!. sell baked goods for money!. try working with "elders" in your community to get the drive going at your library, town hall, post office, etc!.
also, remeber to ask people for canned goods or other non-perishable items!
