Answers:
COCONUT ICE SHAPES are great because you can cut them into shapes to fit the festive season!

Ingredients:
1 small can of condensed milk
250g ice sugar
175g desiccated coconut
2 food colourings
baking tray or plate, 2 bowls
sieve, wooden spoon, blunt knife

STEP1: Open the tin of milk and pour it into a bowl; sieve in the icing sugar.
STEP2: Mix the sugar and milk.
STEP3: Add the coconut and stir. It should be very stiff.
STEP4: Divide the dough into two and put one piece in each bowl.
STEP5: Add a little colouring to each piece and knead it in.
STEP6: Press out each piece into a flat circle, about 1 ? cms thick.
STEP7: Press the circles together.
STEP8: Cut up into shapes when hardened.
STEP9: Enjoy!

A great sweet treat for the holidays is Almond Bark Peppermint Candy. Here's the recipe:

INGREDIENTS

* 1 package of almond bark vanilla or chocolate flavored candy coating

* 1 package of candy canes or round peppermint candies(like they give you at Sonic)

Preparation

* Line a cookie sheet with wax paper.
* Crush candy into very small pieces.
* Melt candy coating in a bowl in the microwave on high for 1 minute.
* Stir and microwave for another 30 seconds.
* Pour crushed candy pieces into melted coating and stir quickly, but only until candy is coated.
* Pour the mixture onto the wax paper.
* Spread into a semi-thin layer and let it cool.
* When the mixture is firm, break into pieces.
* Place in air tight containers or baggies.

OTHER THINGS TO KNOW

* You can substitute white chocolate for the candy coating if you prefer.

* The candy hardens pretty quickly but if you want it SUPER FAST, put it in the frig or freezer for a few minutes.

* Make sure that when you make this that your spoon and bowl are completely dry or the candy will not not melt properly.

* Chocolate-Peppermint Bark: Substitute chocolate-flavored candy coating for the vanilla candy coating. This is really good and tastes a lot like the Thin Mint cookies from the Girl Scouts.

I hope you'll give it a try. It's really good. Happy Holidays!!

I just thought of something else. They're called Chocolate Peanut Clusters and they're very easy to make. Here's what you do:

One container of SALTED peanuts
One package of chocolate flavored almond bark candy coating

Melt the candy coating
Pour the peanuts into the melted chocolate
Spoon onto a cookie sheet
Either let it set out for a little bit or put it in the frig

These are also very good.

How about popcorn balls? Very traditional, and everyone loves the homemade version. You could wrap them in festive red or green cellophane, so if they've pigged out at the party, they can take them along and eat them later. I've been making popcorn balls for Christmas parties for YEARS...and they are always a popular treat. In fact, if I were a commercial cook, I could market those things. People always want to know if they could pay me to make more so they can give them away for gifts or have them again for Christmas Eve. Contact me if you need a recipe, or go to allfoods.com for a recipe. You can also do peanut butter popcorn balls...they are also really yummy!! Hope this helps!!

A trifle is always a wowsy looking dessert, and quite easy to make with a boxed pudding instead of a time comsuming custard. What about a make your own sundae bar. Offer different ice creams, toppings and syrups? Check out Food Networks Semi Home Made site for some quick and easy desserts.

How about me? I'm available this weekend. I'm sweet AND romantic. :)

Egg nog!!! A classic holiday favorite thats almost always overlooked. Easy to slip into some rum, too : )

Try fudge or puppy chow!

This a cookie bar recipe soooooooooo simple and soooooooo damn good !!!

Layer a cake pan with graham or saltine crackers (yes either cracker will work wonderfully!! ). Melt 2 sticks of butter with 1 cup of brown sugar and a dash of salt. Pour this over the crackers evenly and bake for 17 minutes at 350*. Remove from oven and sprinkle with chocolate chips or any chocolate chunks you desire. Wait a few minutes for chocolate to melt then spread out over the entire bar. Let cool completely, cut ans serve.

I hope you love them as much as we do. SO simply and very few ingredients !!

Merry CHRISTmas !!!!

: )

This is really easy, and really good! Put all the ingredients in a big bowl, and stir!

1 Can of mixed fruit (with the juice)
1 Bag of small marshmallows
1 Can of Cool Whip
1 Bag of chopped nuts (optional)
1 Bag of shredded coconut (optional)

Mix all the ingredients together until it is all well mixed. Serve cold. If there will be a lot of people, then just double the everything!

It tastes really good, and it is easy and cheap!
