Anyone have any additional ideas for my farm themed birthday party?!
I am planning on having a farm/tractor themed birthday party for my sons 1st b-day party in my large backyard!. I am trying not to have it cost too much!. I am going to borrow hay bales from a friend for seating around a fire pit (so we can roast weenies and marshmallows) and I am making a homemade tractor cake with little barn animal cupcakes for the little ones!. I am going to use a wheelbarrow for a cooler with ice and drinks in it and we are going to load my husbands trailer with hay for a short hayride around the neighborhood for the kiddos!. Any suggestions of games or fun things for the party!? Since we are outside, maybe blowing bubbles would be fun for the babies/little ones-what else!? Any farm themed fun things to do!? I am thinking of having the guests dress in farm apparel -overalls,hankies,cowboy hats, or scarecrows,or barn animals-Is that too much!? Any other interesting ideas!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

You could try to find one of those guys who goes door to door with a pony or a mule and takes pictures of the kids one at a time sitting on the animal!. For my mom's birthday, when I threw it, I told family members to feel free to dress in the theme and they did!. It made really great pictures!. Take regular games you would play and then just tweak them to fit the farm theme!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

The kids can decorate hard boiled eggs and glue feathers on them like chickens!?!?!? That would be fun!.
How old is your son!? Is he 1!? Or is he older!? From your question, it kind of leaves me guessing!. :-)
OH!.!.!.!.how about a stick pony race around the hay bails!? Then have a stuffed toy for the prize!.
