Popcorn????!

Question:

Popcorn????

I have one of those hot air popcorn poppers. Im having an XMAS party tonight and want to make a bunch of popcorn but i do not know what to put on it. When I melt butter and mix it up with the popcorn it just makes the popcorn soggy. is there any seasoning I can put on it that can be made at home, i dont have time to go to the store

Answers:
get real butter and melt it in the microwave. put the melted butter in the freezer just long enough to cool it down(about 2 minutes) put it on popcorn, it is as good as movie theater popcorn

salt

add mayonis..
understand that word..? i dont really understand it .. hehehe

You can also make various flavorde popcorns.... first spray the popped corn with oil (peanut oil is best)... then you can make:
* "Italian popcon": oregano, basil, salt & parmesan cheese
* "Chili popcorn": chili powder & salt
* "Mexican popcorn": cumin, cilantro and/or taco seasoning
or you can use seasoned salt by itself
or drizzle some melted chocolate over it. Yum!!!

Put the popcorn in a brown paper bag (after you pop it!) then add the butter then shake it up. It distributes the butter more evenly and reduces the chance of soggy popcorn. Don't put too much butter in the bag otherwise...wa-la soggy popcorn again. Add a little at a time as more can always be added rather than subtracted. Don't forget the salt AFTER the butter process. Good luck.

buy the popcorn thsat has butter on it already that has a good amount of it on it n heat it up in microwave

If you have a box of Mac-N-Cheese, use the package of powdered cheese, works, great.

DONT use the popcorn maker. The popcorn from these machienes tastes like paper. Even with salt. Theres no moisture.
You can either do it the old fashioned way in the pot using butter and salt to pop them or simply buy a few bags of microwave popcorn. DO NOT use that popcorn maker. The guests wont eat the popcorn. If they do, they are clearly drunk.

salt!! or u can soak the kernals in melted butter

I melt real butter in the microwave and use a slotted spoon to put it on the popcorn, salt and toss. Add more butter, salt and toss. This will help in not putting too much butter on at a time and the popcorn wont get soggy.

You can spice up your popcorn with just about any seasoning or spice. For sweet add cinnamon and sugar, or some cocoa powder. You could try parmasean cheese, garlic powder, cyanne peper or chili powder. There are all sorts of ways to flavor your snack.

PAM WORKS GOOD. IF YOU DONT HAVE ANY CALL SOME ONE AND BEG FOR IT. IT WILL TAST GOOD TRUST ME. I WASNT SURE THE FIRST TIME EITHER BUT......JUST TRUST ME GET SOME PAM
