How do i cook a spaghetti squash?!

Question:

How do i cook a spaghetti squash?

Answers:
COOKING SPAGHETTI SQUASH

CONVENTIONAL OVEN
Pierce the shell of one whole spaghetti squash. Bake uncovered at 350°F for 45 minutes. Turn squash over and continue to bake until shell gives to pressure, 15 to 45 minutes. Cut in half and remove seeds. Remove the spaghetti like strands with a fork.

MICROWAVE
Cut one spaghetti squash lengthwise and remove the seeds. Place the halves cut side up on a non-metallic baking dish. Microwave on high (100%) for 10 to 12 minutes. Rotate each piece 1/2 turn after 5 minutes. Let stand after cooking for another 5 minutes. The shell should give to pressure. Remove the spaghetti like strands with a fork.

BOIL
Place halves cut side down in pot with 3 inches of water. Bring water to a boil and cook for 20 minutes or until squash is tender. Remove the spaghetti like strands with a fork.

i dont understand your question

Oven to 350, take a cookie sheet and put a piece of foil down, take the squash and cut it in half long ways, sprinkle a tad bit of brown sugar on it and make little cuts and put little pieces of butter in them, bake for 40 minutes and scoop it with a fork to serve, yummmmmmmmmo

you can put that right in your microwave and it will turn out good. I've done it. just hit vegetable on the microwave and it will cook it until it's done.

bubbagump has the right anser

you squash spaghetti

You can cook it in the oven or microwave as already suggested. Caution - if cooking in microwave either cut in half and scoop out seeds or cook whole, but poke holes in squash to release steam.

You can either use brown sugar and butter as suggested or I like using butter and parm. cheese and Italian seasonings which I mix in after the squash is cooked and scooped out of the shell. My daughter likes it with a marinara sauce.

Enjoy!!

try the microwave idea from Diana D ...I think it is faster and taste just as good

Bake It -- Pierce the whole shell several times with a large fork or skewer and place in baking dish. Cook squash in preheated 375°F oven approximately 1 hour or until flesh is tender.
Boil It -- Heat a pot of water large enough to hold the whole squash. When the water is boiling, drop in the squash and cook for 20 to 30 minutes, depending on its size. When a fork goes easily into the flesh, the squash is done.
Microwave It -- Cut squash in half lengthwise; remove seeds. Place squash cut sides up in a microwave dish with 1/4 cup water. Cover with plastic wrap and cook on high for 10 to 12 minutes, depending on size of squash. Add more cooking time if necessary. Let stand covered, for 5 minutes. With fork "comb" out the strands.
Slow Cooker or Crock-Pot - Choose a smaller spaghetti squash (unless you have an extra large slow cooker) so that it will fit. Add 2 cups of water to slow cooker. Pierce the whole shell several times with a large fork or skewer, add to Crock Pot, cover and cook on low for 8 to 9 hours.

please keep in mind that spaghetti squashes are extremely difficult to cut! make sure if you decide to put it in the microwave you make cuts in it first or it might explode. but as suggested, the microwave is great! when its soft enough to cut, split it in half length wise, and microwave it until very soft. then scrape out the squash lendthwise with a fork.

Squash some spaghetti, LOL
