Two Cups of Coffee which is cooler?!

Question: Two Cups of Coffee which is cooler!?
You have two cups of coffee, same Temperature when poured!.
Cup 1 you place sugar and cream and stir wait 10 minutes then drink
Cup 2 you wait 10 min ad sugar and cream and stir then drink!.

You are using same type sugar and same Temperature Cream!.

Which one will be cooler when you drink it Option 1 or Option 2Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Option 2 because you adding cool cream to an already cooled down cup of coffee!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The second one will be cooler!.

By adding the creamer and sugar, organic compounds, they act as insulators!. This keeps the coffee's heat contained within the system (the coffee in the cup) longer!. They change the specific heat of the system, and so less heat energy is released!.

If you just had the coffee, then added the organics later, then it would loose heat faster during the ten minutes!. Since it has no insulator other than the cup!. Whereas the coffee with the organics added first have extra insulators!.

I love this question!.
Conceptually, they'll both be the same!.

But!!! if the cups of coffee are not perfectly cylinderical, i!.e!. the rim is slightly bigger/wider than the base (like styrofoam cups), then by adding cream and sugar you increase the volume slightly, thus slightly increasing the surface area exposed to the air, thus it will cool ever so slightly faster!. So cup 1 will be cooler if the shape of the cup matters!. Works best if you add more cream!. Double double anyone!? :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'll guess the same, but I definitely wouldn't bet my life on it!. Or much money!. Do you know!? ////////// Note to Ethan: Neither cup is sitting 20 minutes!. Number 2 after all!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I will say Cup 2, as without stirring the CUP will heat up and help keep the coffee warm!.
But who am I!? No scientist!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

the second one adding the cream after 10 min makes it cool down faster

option 2 it sets 20 minutes unless you do both at once !. P!.S!. Do i win!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
