Which will cost less money in the long run, charcoal or propane for a grill that will be used a lot?!
Looking to buy my first grill that is more than $20 and just wanted some input on cost!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Having owed both I think it is about the same!. However the more important question is taste and time!. I love the taste of meats on a charcoal grill, but most of the time getting home from work and getting food on the table it is easier to just turn the gas on and throw the meat on the grill and have it ready in 15 minutes!. With the gas grill I use lots of marinades to flavor the meats!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
The slightly higher cost of the propane is offset more than offset by the convenience & ease of use!. Charcoal is also a lot more maintenance!.
I have a charcoal grill for summer season, BBQ's, and mass cooking on the weekend in preparation for the week!. For quick nightly meals, I use the propane but miss the taste/texture/smell of a charcoal grill even with a really good quality smoker attachment!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I use a nuclear powered grill for all my cooking and find it to be extremely efficient, although it is expensive initially!. I have also started growing a third arm, but it could be entirely unrelated!. I have no hesitation recommending a nuclear powered cooker!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
propane!. it is also advantageous in ease of use and quickness!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
