Should I ....?!

Question:

Should I ....?

Have a disco ball at my 11year old daughters cocktail party(non-alcholic drinks of course)can I have more ideas please?

Answers:
this shld be fun.. maybe some non alcoholic versions of cocktails.. mojito's with (brown sugar, lime, 7up or gingerale, mint) .. sherley tempels .. different kinds of soda with falvored syrups .. jell-o shots

a chocolate fountain (with some strawberries, pineapple, cookies, marshmallows) .. sandwiches cut into smaller pieces
be sure to have some cool music playing at all times (let ur daughter help u with that)

the invatations should be something cool & simple like a ribbon with the invatation hung on it (ribbon cld be used as a bracelet
later)

u shld pick a color that wld be the color of napkins, helium baloons, invatations, decorations (not too many decorations though, u don't want it to be crowded)

be creative & i hope this turns out well for you, hope ur daughter enjoys the party.. :D:D .. (u can addapt every thing to fit ur budget)

Wow. Non-alcoholic or not are you really calling it a cocktail party. Aren't there any other themes you could use for an 11 year old? Yikes.
And no matter what the theme, a disco ball is a good idea.

i have a quick question for you first how cant you get a guy without making a total **** of yourself? you can have beer that isnt too strong punch for the kids if you are inviting kids and i dont know what else. yes you should have a disco ball she is only 11

that is a great idea! you could have sparkling cider in champagne flutes and food that is tray passed. even if you are serving pizza you could cut it into bite sized peices and pass it out to make it look fancier. do you have a dj? you could download songs and hook it up to play. there are a lot of great party songs for kids to dance to--kinda like ymca style. a great idea for dessert is an ice cream sundae bar or a ice cream soda bar. have a great party, good luck!

Helium ballons touching the ceiling with long ribbons hanging down are fun!

no

I have a suggestion for you why not add some fruits to the festive party and also get a chocolate foutain, you can also have sparling drinks made up and you can have a soda fountain, with all the glass aranging like a fountain and the made up drings flowing like a fountain that would be pretty cool, diso lights are also great, make sure you have lots of cd's on hand just in case the dj, pulls a fst one, and can't make it.

yes u should
get chocolate fountains
white n dark
get ballons hanging down from the ceiling n glow in the dark shapes

I think it's a GREAT idea! It will be fun for your daughter and her friends to feel all grown up. Is this a New Year's party? I'd include the disco ball and maybe you could even do a balloon drop at midnight with prizes in the balloons. You might be able to get some local businesses to donate or even some of the parents might be willing to pitch in!

Best of luck!
