Party suggestions after xmas pre new years?
Throwing a party on the 30th. It was the only day the clubhouse at my apartment complex was available. It's got a big comfy leather couch. Huge tv (which we're use for vido games and later boxing match) two big tables and a billiards and darts room. Full kitchen. Having about 20 people over started early afternoon, hors d'oveurs basically already handled. Would like some mixed drink suggestions, decorating tips based on the fact that its after christmas and music suggestions. Basically any tips would be appreciated.
Answers:
you may use gold and silver as accent/decorations - no red and green as in for Christmas. any glittery objects will do. You may watch a movie with holiday story or watch new released movie (Cars, Rocky etc). don't forget the popcorn. margarita is always good. wine coolers as well. music depends on the guests - young adult will probably like contemporary or slow rock. mature adult will go for jazzy or bluesy music. you may also ask them to bring fave CDs
Invite a lot of females and forget to invite the males. ;)
how about a celeb look-a-like party. everyone MUST dress up!!
