Paris themed birthday party?!
Im turning 15 this year and having a big b-day party!!! I haven't decided but im almost sure I want to make it Paris themed!!! I want everything pink and black!. I really need help on finding the supplies though! Any suggestions>>>Www@FoodAQ@Com

Oh! Pink and black are some of my favorite color combinations! (I once had a room painted that warm pink with shiny black trim and it was fantastic!)

Ok- Paris!. I was there several times and what you can do to celebrate the theme of that country is you and your frieinds can pick from a hat french women's names and for the entire party, refer to each other by those names! "Gigi, Denise, Claudette, Yolande, Sophie, Minou, Lisanne, Claudine etc!.!.!.!.
And have some french music for a good start:

Have some posters of famous French art such as Henri Toulouse laTrec's Moulin Rouge etc!.!.!.
Maybe specify the women are all to dress in styles LIKE haute Couture!.!.!.with feather boas, fancy purses, white (church) golves you can get at a vintage clothing shop, get your hair all done up into a pretty upsweep hairdo!.!.!.maybe wear a chiffon scarf on top of it like a french movie star! etc!.!.!.maybe lipstick and some tiny perfumes, simple beaded necklaces from maybe a vintage shop could be given as prizes!.!.!.
Your Mom might be able to prepare some simple French style food--if there IS such a thing! (Check youtube for ideas/recipes) Have a baguette with your dinner!.!.!.and dip toast in coffee (the French do this)!.!.!.or hot chocolate!.!.!.in fact, have some chocolates and bon bons!
Have some parasols up as decorations, maybe a cute bubble machine could be rented or hand out bubble wands!.!.!.have some color and some black and white pix of your party!
Have some pictures on the walls of white and black French poodles--and of course, the Eiffel tower!
Have some gingerale with red food coloring in it so it looks like wine--and serve it in plastic champagne classes!.!.!.
Oh I wanna be at this party! Too bad I'm way too old :-(
Be sure to take tons of pictures and maybe you can make a little (private access only!) internet site to remember your fun party with your friends!.
You girls can dance and eat cute little hors d'oeurves and pastires your wonderful Mom and you make together (take pix of you two cooking together too for fancy fun memories!)!.!.!.and have a really special cake with the Eiffel tower on it too--just use an icing piper to pipe out the design in maybe pink on pretty white icing and some black jelly beans all around the cake on the plate!.!.!.serve on paper doilies!.!.!.
Don't forget to create cool French invitations!. Just search some french images and make into cards!.!.!.you can add your special font onto those and you're all set for those too!
