How can i send a new cooking ingredient to chefs?!

Question:

How can i send a new cooking ingredient to chefs?

we come from a long line of culinary artist and have
a liquid extract that will change cooking forever because its
new organic easy and authentic I want to turn some chefs onto it!
Its called Java Juice extract- Everyday Gourmet

Answers:
I would send the ingredient to culinary schools or try to demo the ingredient at a place where you know chefs will be in attendance and out of their kitchens...Maybe an American Culinary Federation meeting. Chefs in their own restaurants have large egos and not a lot of time to be trying new stuff. So I would get the product to them with ou going directly to their restaurants.

Share your idea all over the place, including restaurants

Hate to inform you but the fly-swatter has already been invented. Java Juice Extract has been around for a while now, and has been incorporated into many already used recipes. Good luck with your "new" cooking ingredient.

it doesn't matter if your extract is already being used.

There are hundreds of brands of tires and donuts and sweaters and cars, all with a huge market and all profitable.

Market your new version of the wheel and let your enthusiasm take you where it will.

Good luck and pay no attention to any of the naysayers you will encounter. They are all over the place and so unhappy with their own unaccomplished lives that they are more than willing to show you how unaccomplished your life is.

Go for it! There is an organization in Florida called UTEK, it converts ideas into marketable products. I knew someone who worked there and it is a think tank/broker for things like yours.

Take some samples to restaurants. Have some ideas/recipes for using it and maybe a sample of a dish containing the ingredient. But if you are serious, get a patent first. I have worked in the food industry for many years and if your product is good you don't want someone to steal the idea.
