I am having a party . . .?
I am hosting a party for about 20 people for New Year on the 31st of Dec. What food should i prepare ? What music is suitable ? What should we do ? My daughters are also inviting their friends and they are five 12 year olds, three 10 year olds and one 7 year old. What party favours should we give them and what presents are good for 12 year olds. They are all girls. I want to spend less than $5 for one person. It has to be something nice too. If you suggez the dollar store, please give me some things i can find there cuz i have no idea . . . . .

You should prepare food that is easy to make because you will be serving about 20+ people. Maybe you could get pizza, or make some home-made pizza. Spaghetti is also a good idea, you can make tons of it and who doesn't like spaghetti? The kids will also enjoy either food. You can buy the kids party favors like stationary supplies. A set of a pen and notebook, available at the dollar store. Also, this is a cool idea; but you would have to check with their parents to see if it's alright. You can buy a can of colored hair spray, I used it for Halloween and it was awesome. There are tons of wacky colors. And yes, it goes away when you take a shower. This could be for the older kids. Each can would only be a dollar, what a bargain.

Chips and dips, nachos,are always good to have for guests to snack on.try some pasta dishes, chicken (seasoned with your favourite spices) and oven baked.Salads, have two different kinds, a Cesar salad and a tossed salad maybe with balsamic vinaigrette for those who are worried about the calories. As gifts for the girls, in the dollar store they have beads sets for them to do jewellery with it, there is little note books with pens, you can also try the make up set, they are lipglosses that look like they are real color but they just shine.
