Question:

What kind of gift do you bring a party host? (Wine tasting party)?

Answers:
cocktails party snacks,peanuts,fruits,crackers...

Those wine charms or label removers or a wine journal or a stopper or a nice tool...

Nice cork or Wine Glasses or a nice Bottle

I love wine tasting parties! You could always go with the theme and order some fun wine-related items from http://www.perpetualkid.com. Also, everyone loves a nice decanter! Try the Great Wine Decanter or the Duck Wine Decanter from Pottery Barn http://www.potterybarn.com. They are both priced at $29!

CHEESE! I like cheese!

A good bottle of wine........some brezel...............and some bread!

Cheezeburgers for when everyone has the drunken munchies!
:-D

You cant go wrong with another bottle of wine...Just make sure it doesnt have a screw on lid!

box of chocolates

Some refreshing fruits to wash down the tannins. Grapes, Watermelons, Starfruits, Rose apples, Crystal Pears....clear refreshing juicy stuffs. NO citrus please as they dun go well with wine.

I can never have enough wine glasses. ( I host tastings from time to time)
Otherwise, bottle of wine, cheese, fresh bread, chocolate and petite pastries are always welcomed.

Brookstone makes a really cool wine gadget for checking the wine temperature for different varieties.

Why don't you put together a gift basket of stuff. You could put in a bottle of wine, some wine charms, a cheese plate and cheese knife, a nice chunk of a fancy cheese, maybe a cute bottle cork. Then wrap the whole thing up in some nice shrink wrap or fabric and tie it up with ribbon.

definitely wine glasses or cheese

I think the gift basket sounds great with a couple of wine glasses, corkscrew, pretty cocktail napkins, a nice bottle of wine and for the cheese (Havarti). We attended a wine tasting class a few years back, the instructor told us to cleanse the palate with Havarti cheese and plain, unsalted crackers. Have fun!
