The horderves are for between the wedding ceremony and dinner. time span about 2 hours. Just a place for people to go while photos are being taken. Looking at primarily vegies, cheese/meat/crackers and maybe shrimp. Thanks

Okay....i need a little more info...but I'll tell ya what I can. First off, will there be a meal after the horderves are served? If there will NOT be a meal after the horderves, then figure on 5-7 per person (to be on the safe side figure 7) if you are serving alcohol at this party definitely make sure that you have enough food to make sure no one is getting drunk on an empty stomach. Go for a really good variety, because there's a good chance you will have some allergies, and or vegan's (vegetarian's) in the crowd, so to make sure all are happy, try for about 3 of the 6-7 to have meat, and other's to be like mini quiche's, battered veggies, seafood, or if you are throwing a really "fancy" party go for things like caviar on hard toast points, shrimp salad, stuffed brie, etc. You really have to cater to the group that are going to be there...if you have alot of guys, make sure that you have enough substance go for chicken nuggets, (or grilled chicken/steak/pork kabob's) instead of wings, cause you loose too much meat to bone with wings. If there is going to be a meal, after horderves then opt for 3-4 taking into account how long between the horderves and meal, and how much alcohol if any you decide to serve.

Buy about one pound of cheese for every 30 people. They won't be pigging out on your big day. A variety is always the best. I woild also get some salomi.
