Here is a great way to feed your friends and its really cheap. Plus, it looks so appetizing. Buy a big bag of dollar rolls. They are little dinner rolls basically. You put those in a nice basket or platter. Then you take some sliced meats, turkey, roast beef, ham....whatever, put the meat on a plate and garnish with leaf lettuce. (Put the lettuce down first, then lay the meat on top).
On another tray you lay out some cut onions, lettuce, tomatoes and slices of cheese. Decorate like the meat tray. Tell your guests to make their own little sandwiches. It looks like a million dollars worth of food, but its not. Any idiot can throw out chips and dips.....I like to feed my guests good food. If you have enogh money, you can make a nice fruit tray doing the same thing. As far as the meats go....you can just serve turkey like I always do. Have a great New Years!

Spread Cream Cheese over the bottom of a pan. Cover with a can of pizza sauce or salsa. Cover whole top with shredded cheese. Warm in microwave or heat in oven until cheese melts. Eat with Tortilla chips. Excellent!

Take a brick of cream cheese. Pour salsa over it and serve with chips. OR pour raspberry preserves over it and serve with good crackers. For more zip, add some jalapeno to the preserves for a sweet-hot elegant spread. Simple!

spinach dip in a breadbowl....can be eaten with crackers or veggies!

How about chili dip! It's incredibly simple to make: Just take a cube of cream cheese and a can of chili and microwave them together until the cream cheese is melted. Then stir the mixture and sprinkle cheddar cheese over the top. Serve with tortilla chips. It is so good!!!

wow there is soooo many....look for 'mezze' in the internet. it libanese appetizers and they are so yummy, healthy and easy made!

sorry, to many to mention and explain all of them

well,
it's simple! how about making a homemade pizza, it's easy peasy! just find the reciepe on the computer if you can't do that just order some! i hope people will enjoy anything you give them.
Or you can make nachoes, every one loves them! the delicious cheese and the sauce will just be perfect! and lastly finish it with the best touch like having a make over that will be fun and enjoyabe!

I always am requested to make my famous "Rotel from Hell" dip for parties.....Take 1 block Velveeta mild mexican cheese & cut into cubes....Place in crockpot & add 1 can Rotel chili & tomatos & 1 can chili ( you can substitute 1 lb of sausage browned in a skillet & drained well if you prefer) Heat on low, stirring occasionally til melted. Keep on low & serve with tortillia chips & salsa on the side.....It's great!!

--Pinwheels Recipes

Ingredients:
4 large slices medium-rare roast beef
1/2 cup cream cheese
2 tablespoons prepared horseradish

Directions:

Whip the cream cheese with a fork until soft. Stir in the horseradish. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the slices of roast beef. Starting at a narrow end, roll each slice tightly and wrap individually in plastic wrap. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.

To finish the Roast Beef Pinwheels, unwrap the rolls and slice into slices.

Arrange them on a serving platter.

Note: 1. Using horseradish sauce in the Roast Beef Pinwheels recipe, rather than straight prepared horseradish, cuts the zippiness and flavor of the recipe.

2. Smaller slices of roast beef can be used in a pinch; just make more "rolls" and slice them a little thicker.

Little smokies wrapped in cresent rolls and baked. With dipping sauces like mustard, ranch, ketchup and barbucue. SO easy, SO good.

Cut french bread in thin slices, about 1/2 inch lightly toast and reb with fresh garlic and olive oil. Top with a few fresh spinach leaves and a slice of good feta, toas lightly again to melt feta and serve. YUM!

Mini turkey pesto sandwiches. Get some foccacia bread (2 loaves) and grill it just enough to get the grill marks. Spread pesto on one side, layer on turkey, provelone cheese, and sprinkle with some oregano. Spread pesto on the other foccacia and make a sandwich. Cut into small bite-sized squares and serve.

I have about five that I found. Look at my last question posted. They're all easy and they sound really good.

I think a veggie platter ( celery, broccoli, cauliflower, tomato wedges, mini carrots, bell peppers etc.) with a couple of dips-buy in the store or look up recipes online, would go over well. Cheese tray with crackers is also good. Simple is best. Especially for the cook/hostess. They can be prepared ahead, covered, and refrigerated. Fruit can be cut into bite sized pieces and arranged on platters as well. All of these are great with drinks or cocktails at a party.

*Fresh bakery bread. Slice and cut in half(bite size portions) spread a good bleu cheese on it and top with thinly sliced pears. Bake at 350 for about 15 minutes or until cheese is melted and bread is brown. Quick and delicious. Good cold too.
*Olive and pickle tray, try some spicy aspuragus sticks ,pickled green tomato etc..
*Knors veg. soup mix(dry) follow dip direction for veggie crudite.
*Marinate cut of beef(strip etc.if cost is a factor) in Allegro for about 2 days. Score the meat. Grill or flash broil to med. rare. Slice on bias, serve with rolls and horseymayo and spicy mustard for a zesty hearty app.
*Duncan Hines Turtle Brownies. Undercook them for chewy goodness. Let cool, cut, place on serving tray. drizzle with Chocolate. Serve with Baileys . Also Strawberries or Raspberries on the side.
*But most of all relax and enjoy. Your friends will appreciate that more than the food.
