My RSVP date for my son's birthday is tomorrow only 1/3 have responded, do people always wait?!

Question: My RSVP date for my son's birthday is tomorrow only 1/3 have responded, do people always wait!?
I am having my son's 7th birthday party next weekend, and have the please RSVP date down as tomorrow!. I invited 12 boys, so far I have only heard from 4 people saying they are coming, and one boy told my son he is coming at school, but I haven't heard from the parent!. Am I just to assume that those that don't respond aren't coming!? Or does everyone just wait until the last minute!? I am making personal goodie bags, so I need to know who is actually attending!. What has been your experience with this!? Thanks!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Personally i think only a few people pay attention to the RSVP, also they could have over looked it, just looked for the date and place and didnt even realize it, just make the bags just in case, or you could always try and call the moms!.!.!.!? Most invites i have seen are to call if you have regrets!.!.!.so maybe they just thought not to call!. Have a great time, twelve 7 year olds will be fun ! :) Its also possible the moms never even got to see th actual invitation!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

About half of the people do not respond - some of the parents may not even have seen the invitation if it was sent home through school!. I would expect a few more responses, then assume most of those who did not call are coming!. Make the bags, have fun, and use any left over bags for another event or give them to the children's ward at the local hospital to share the fun! Best Wishes to You!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Isn't that RUDE!? Yes, people will show up without letting you know, and it's so annoying! You can't hurt the boys' feelings, just because their parents don't have any manners:) So, I'd have goodie bags ready for all of them:) !.!.!.!.!.!. When my daughters were little, I never put the address on the invitations!. So, people HAD to RSVP to find out where the party was going to be held!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Don't you just hate that!. I think it is so rude!. I wouldn't go to someone's house any other day without calling first!. I don't think people understand what a position they put people in when they refuse to just pick up the phone!.I would just assume that half of those who did not RSVP are coming!. How are you to know!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

a lot of invites that say please RSVP- the invitees don'to respond!. They just show up!. just make a goodie bag for all of them!. and if they don't show se la ve!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Oh dont worry, my daughters 11th was yesterday!. Half of them didnt send there slip back but they all came!. She had a gr8 bash and didnt stop smiling the whole way through!.
Im sure he will enjoy himself!.
Happy Birthday to ur son!Www@FoodAQ@Com

most people wait till last minute i do!Www@FoodAQ@Com

As a parent I can say that I have planned many a party where half the people that say they will be here don't show and the ones that I hear nothing from show up!. My motto is always have too much that way you never are without!. Don't let this bother you too much, I am sure that he will have a great time who ever comes!. Take lots of pictures!. Remember that when he remembers that you took the time to put together the party he will have that as a fond memory!. My girls (now older) still talk about the parties and themes I planned for them!.
As for why they do not respond I can only say that I am embarrassed to say that I have done this too, If memory serves we were not sure if we had other plans and we did not know if we could get my daughter there or have a ride to pick her up on time!. So we waited for the last minute to respond!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
