What can I take to add to the "snack table" at an Open House?!

Question:

What can I take to add to the "snack table" at an Open House?

The invitation said, You may bring something to add to the snack table. I have no idea what to really take. It's going to have to be store bought--as I am out of time...I need to be leaving NOW, and I am also short on money. I didn't attend last year, so don't want to blow it off this year.

Answers:
Buy a bag of those miniature candy bars and put them in a bowl.
It's not expensive. It's chocolate, you can't go wrong.

Pick up a veggie tray or cookie tray or cupcake tray at your grocery on the way. Or how about a loaf of French or Italian bread and a container of spinach dip.

chex mix or nuts. I think that atore bought is OK...it would be extremely rude to ask someone to hand make something.

Think Girl !!-- pretzels, bagel chips, pita chips , a cheese ball, baby carrots and a botle of Ranch - now run, hurry , don't be late!!

chips and dip
veggies and dip
fruit and dip
meat and cheese
cream puffs
cookies
brownies

You can get lots of different things arranged for you at grocery store. The Deli area should already have numerous selections out.

walmart has gourmet crackers their brand for less than 2 dollars a box they even have beer crackers and sun dried tomatoes about 6 different kinds i take them to work and share them everyone loves them get a cheap dollar bowl or tray to put them on

A fruit or vegetable tray - a meat tray could be used also - but it is expensive - also a cheese tray!@~

Arrive well after it starts with a serving tray and a pound or more of your choice of Buffalo, Hot, Honey- Bar-B-Q or Bar-B-Q flavor wings or drumettes. (drum sticks) I think you can even get an acceptable supply on your way there at KFC. (Kentucky Fried Chicken in mid-east of U.S.A.)

nuts, mints, any kind of finger food.
