i have two boys 10 & 6 and both of them want one thing every birthday. A POOL PARTY! now i dont have a pool, so i go to a hotel with a indoor pool and rent thier confrence room for the day (which includes use of the pool ) invite there friends for the afternoon or a sleep over. they LOVE IT . good luck
p.s. dont forget the pool toys

ROLLERSKATTING PARTY

some disney theme. it always clicks, like finding nemo or something else.

a star wars party

what is the birthday child's favorite cartoon to watch? or what is their favorite toy? One year my grandson was into Nemo so we did that, then last couple of years he's really started to like dinosaurs so we did that this year.

okay im 12 so trust me i have a few good ones jumpy house, insidehouse games like twister,or hide ngo seek.....MUSICAL CHAIRS

how about a Hollywood primier sleepover party! you can do makeovers take before and after pictures of everyone. here's a site with tons of other ideas and activities.

maybe something disney, with lots of ballons and stuff like that, maybe one of those mini trampolines, u know somethin like that

Well - places like Chuck E. Cheese or another game room situation are always popular - but expensive. Miniature golfing, skating, pool parties, going to the movies are always fun too.

I did a Double Dare type party for my son when he was 10 -complete with a green slime pit - and they LOVED it.

I've also done a Mad Scientist Party - with gross, wacky "science experiments" that was a big hit.

Oh another big hit was an overnight camping/fishing party. Need lots of help with that one though.
